This male common blue butterfly was drinking the nectar from below this Geranium, often called nectar robbing. The flower was a bit tatty but still producing nectar. A really beautiful butterfly, open or closed. Pauline painted this using watercolour and was pleased with the result.
Pauline photographs them and then later sits and enjoys painting from those pictures. Creating wonderful works of art which showcase horticulture and entomology.
Here you can see the how wonderful this art work looks in a frame.
Pauline will personalise your print on the front or rear, and if you would like the latin names added to the front this is no problem, all at no extra cost.
