9 May 2021 // 2 hours

Seed and propagation workshop for beginner gardeners

A range of students enjoyed two hours learning the basics of propagation in my organic, award-winning garden. They examined seeds, plants and followed horticultural best practice. All students took away plugs, plants and seeds they propagated themselves.

Christine Walkden – March 2014

 

Christine spoke in The Performance Hall at The Discovery Centre at Winchester about her eventful and challenging 45 years as a gardener. The audience was rapt from start to finish.

Toby Buckland – February 2013

 

Toby spoke to a packed audience in The Performance Hall at Winchester in Hampshire and it was a resounding success.

"Flowering Perennials In Planting Schemes" with Rosie Yeomans

June 2014 // 1 Day Workshop

A one day workshop at the Down House in Hampshire taught by Rosie Yeomans, a guest panelist on BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time, a regular writer for Gardeners' World Magazine, and all-round garden expert.

2013, 2014 & 2015 // 15 week course

A senior lecturer at Sparsholt College, multiple Chelsea gold winner and all round garden guru,  talented Chris Bird taught these courses at the Discovery Centre in Winchester. Students learnt the fundamentals of garden design.
