Snowdrops are the ultimate sign of spring, white, simple and beautiful.

This year I have two snowdrop talks to deliver in February 2026 I'm really looking forward to those and I'll be taking pre-ordered drops along, hopefully with a few extras.

This year I'm also now registered as a plant health professional operator. I've always sold plants but healthy horticultural practice is important so that we dont .pass on nasties to others. If you are a private (or commercial operator) its a simple process.

Wrapped in damp moss, bare root and in flower

Bulbs in the green through the post in a card board tube are always a thrill and this is how your purchases will arrive. They maybe pre or post flowering but they'll be clear of soil or compost and a real treat for your patch.

In large groups the white and green of snowdrops does something to us all.

The pink Hellebores as companions with the blue green slender leaves of the drops works well.

I make cloches from chicken wire to prevent me for slicing through bulbs with my trowel. I use every square inch.

These are planted on the shady moist side of the slope under a large Bramley seedling.

The old decking had an active bumblebee nest in it last year.

Galanthus nivalis Sibbertoft White

Sibbertoft White is white, with only the feintest traces marking the inner - just beautiful and a good grower.
